G. Michael Cundiff, CPA has been practicing since 1975. Over the years, I have been involved in many varied industries from automotive repair, to nursing homes, to the hotel/motel industry, manufacturing, construction and more. I have provided accounting, auditing, income and estate tax preparation and consulting, and business planning and consulting to my clients.

Member of the Winchester-Frederick County and Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce organizations.

I have three grown children, two stepchildren and ten grandchildren. They keep me pretty busy outside of work! I became involved in woodworking by building furniture and toys for my granddaughters. I enjoy horseback riding and family gatherings.

Brian D. Miller

Brian graduated from Shepherd College in December of 1997 with a degree in accounting. In February of 1998 he became the first full-time Manassas employee with Cundiff & Associates, CPA, P.C.

Brian passed all four sections of the Uniform CPA Exam held in Roanoke, Virginia during November of 2002, and after meeting the remaining requirements, the Commonwealth of Virginia recognized him as a Certified Public Accountant on March 13, 2003.

Brian's previous work experience includes working in professional offices doing bookkeeping and accounting tasks for eight years. His experience with Cundiff & Associates includes preparation of income tax returns, monthly and quarterly write-up work, compilations, reviews, audits, payroll tax returns, sales tax, and training / assisting clients with their accounting software and systems. This work is done for a variety of clients that include individuals, partnerships, corporations, not-for-profit entities, and employee benefit plans.

Brian attends more conferences and continuing education programs than is required by the Board of Accountancy in order to stay up to date on all the latest changes in law and accounting practices. As a member of the Prince William County - Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce, he attends some of the local events in and around the Manassas area.

Brenda Lineburg

Brenda Lineburg graduated from Lord Fairfax Community College in 1998 with an Associates Degree in accounting. She has recently refreshed her skills by attending tax preparation classes and will continue her education in that area as well as others. Brenda joined the team at the Winchester office in October of 2001. Her duties include monthly write-up services, monthly and annual payroll tax returns, payroll, assisting with audits and preparation of individual tax returns.

A native of Winchester, Virginia, Brenda has knowledge of the area and the business in our community. Brenda and her husband continue to reside in the Frederick County area. They have four children and four wonderful grandchildren.

Ann Marie King

Ann was born and raised in Washington, D.C., attended St. Peter's Elementary, graduated from St. Cecelia's Academy, completed studies at the Washington School for Secretaries. Ann is a resident of Frederick County for the past eighteen years. She is married with three grown children and five grandchildren. Both children and grandchildren are all local for frequent visits.

Ann has been employed by Cundiff & Associates, CPA, P.C., for the past three years. She prepares individual, business, estate and nonprofit returns for the clients of the firm and assists with audit reports. Ann attends seminars and IRS classes to keep current with the ever changing tax laws and regulations.

Her previous experience includes Executive Secretary for an analytical planning corporation on Fifteenth Street, downtown Washington, D.C. (one block from the White House), Secretary to the Vice President of Well's Industries, Alexandria, VA; Executive Secretary/Bookkeeper for various companies including service stations and car washes. She has been involved in the preparations of taxes for a well known tax firm for thirteen years. This included personal, business, estate and nonprofit returns.

Ann attends seminars and IRS updates as part of her continuing education to keep current with the ever changing tax laws and regulations.

Mercedes Cundiff, known by most as "Missie", came on board July of 2002. Missie is the Director of Marketing and Client Relations. She is our representative with the Winchester-Frederick County and Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce Organizations.

Our clients are my number one priority. We are a full service Accounting and Bookkeeping firm committed to providing them with quality information and timely service. Jim Yagerline

Jim Yagerline

Jim has an undergraduate Business Degree from Virginia Tech, along with a Secondary School Teaching Certification.

His experience in the computer industry these past nine years is within the Windows based environment, both in stand alone and networked (wire and wireless) structure. He served as Program Manager for the then F&M Bank when their Frederick and Loudoun County branches went to a more sophisticated computer system, prior to the BB&T turnover. He has experience connecting satellite offices to the main building in a business based in Frederick and Shenandoah counties.

Jim discovered in his years of working for and with large companies, smaller ones, teaching in high school, and coaching high school sports that the key element in all cases is communication. No matter the individual, you talk with them in terms they understand. Communicate what you want to say and listen to their response. This is what he does and has learned the hard way as most folks do.

Jim is the person to bring it all together, the connection of what a client wants and what can be provided, from an individual to a small or large business. He has joined Cundiff & Associates CPA, P.C. because he says, "I respect the people who make up this organization and on the relationship I have built with them over the past three years".

Sharon McHargue

Sharon McHargue

Sharon was born in Washington, D.C. and lived there until she moved to Montgomery County, Maryland where she attended High School and worked at a dry cleaning company. She has worked for a research company for 10 years and then moved to Delaware obtaining a position as secretary for a carpet and upholstery cleaning company for 10 years. In August 2004, she moved to Winchester and became employed at Cundiff & Associates in March of 2005.

Tara Eslinger

Tara graduated from Hawaii Pacific University in 2006 with a bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She plans to take the CPA exam and is currently attending courses so that she may meet the 150-hour requirement. Tara began working at Cundiff and Associates, CPA, P.C. in June of 2006. Her duties include payroll tax preparation, bookkeeping, income tax preparation, and assisting with audits.

Tara and her husband, Steven, reside in Stafford, Virginia.

Shelley Ingleton

Shelley was born in Fairfax, VA and then moved to Alexandria, VA where she was raised. She attended all her Schools there. She graduated from T.C. Williams and after graduating, Shelley and her family moved to Prince William County where Shelley and her husband, Albert, reside with their two kids - Sha-Kya and Tai'Shan.

Besides working, Shelley loves spending time with her family. In January of 2006, Shelley became employed at Cundiff & Associates, CPA, P.C.

Ashlee J. Alderman

Ashlee J. Alderman

Ashlee joined Cundiff & Associates in August of 2006 as Mr. Cundiff's direct assistant. She is a 2006 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a bachelor of science degree in Accounting and Economics. Ashlee plans to further her education by working on a graduate degree and also plans on becoming a CPA after a few years with the firm. In Ashlee's position there is no real concentration in services. She is involved in auditing, tax preparation, tax planning, bookkeeping, and many other services.

Ashlee was born and raised in Augusta, WV where she continues to live with her parents. She also lives close to her siblings and nieces and nephews whom she enjoys spending much of her time with.
